Beetles dissapear in hush's hideout!

Now I know everyone knows about the beetles in hush's hideout that displays scarecrow, but if you pay attention to them and i have watched closely and when the scramble one the floor they dissapear out of the blue. Now yes it does look like they go under the table or even under the debrie but if you watch them REALLY closely they just vanish. Now my theory is since theres a fear gas tank in there, i think as soon as batman enters the hideout he becomes hallcincated (cant spell) and thats why you hear those voices and thats why the bugs just vanish out of thin air.
P.S. Those bugs are also from the first game incase no one as noticed.

I think they are just there for decoration, they are not detailed enough to be important
