Overbearing Difficulty - I JUTS WANT TO PLAY!!

So I thought there was something wrong with my install because I didn't see Harley Quinn's Revenge anywhere...I call up tech support and they said that I have to have completed the game (logical) and also have all the challenge maps completed?!?!

I'm too old for this (almost 30)... I just wanted to play the main story along with the new Harley Quinn's Revenge DLC. I don't have time to comb through all the trophies to get all the challenge maps - AND THEN complete all the challenge maps!! FML, I just wanted to play the new story!! Can there please be a work-around for this?

In the meantime, can anyone confirm the bare minimum of what is needed to play Harley Quinn's revenge? I'm only 41% done according to the percentage...

There should be an option to play Harley Quinn's Revenge from the main menu. You don't need to beat anything.

By the way, I am playing the Steam-bought PC version.

I already beat the game. The problem is that WB tech support said that I have to beat all the challenge maps as well!!

something seems a little off here... i don't see how anyone can "complete" the challenge maps. that's a little bit like saying, "i beat the treadmill when i went to the gym this morning." no one "beats" the treadmill unless you're hitting it with a large stick because it just keeps going and going.

WB Tech Support are outright liars who've never even touched the game they're "helping" with. If your problem doesn't match anything in the script they're reading, they'll just make up some BS to try to get you to go away. They're absolutely worthless.

In this case, they're completely wrong. If you start a brand new game file, you should be able to play HQR before touching anything in the main game or challenges. There are no prerequisites other than owning the DLC.

I bought mine via Steam and it works. Do you realize that Steam only sells you a GFWL redemption code and doesn't install the content? You still have to actually download the content via GFWL. (Stupid, isn't it?)

If that's your issue, find Arkham City in your library. Right-click it and "View Game CD Key." Select the key for HQR and hit the button that says "Copy to Clipboard." Now, start Arkham City. Press the Home key to bring up GFWL. Navigate to your profile and click on something like "Redeem Key." Paste the key in from the clipboard (hitting Ctrl-V should do it) and continue. It should download the game, then restart it, and HQR should be available.

That's just stupid. It's obvious that they mean get all three Riddler stamps or whatever. What you're saying is like saying you can't complete Sonic the Hedgehog because a score is involved.
