Yeah, you shouldn't have made that thread and just posted it here.
On topic, this will be one of the greatest films ever made.
i agree because of the fact that how awesome The Dark Knight was Nolan knew he had to go bigger. I kinda like how it seems he is making this like The Dark Knight Returns. batman coming back. I feel Bane will break Batmans back but my problem with that is how soon in the movie will that happen and does that mean he's not going be Batman that much in the movie. also the football scene was ****ing awesome
So i saw the 5-minute intro. As a Batman fan, i am not impressed.
This...did not feel like a Batman film. The intros of Begins and Dark Knight grabbed me from the get-go; Bruce's childhood origin to him in the prison was emotional. Joker's Bank Job was one of the greatest film intros ever. Dark Knight Rises.....was not.
Nolan is GREAT at claustrophobic, uncomfortable scenes. But they have no place in Batman, especially with Bane. He acted exactly like what i would expect a Bond-villain to do. The plane-drop was something straight out of a GI Joe or spy movie.
This felt like it was Inception part 2 or Nolan's take on James Bond, not Batman. The CIA plot is weird and everything felt really forced.
Nolan is not impressing me so far.
You're not much of a Batman fan, then, considering this prologue served as an intro to Bane.
It's basically a plane heist with Bane at the forefront. How does that not feel like a Batman film?
This wasn't exactly claustrophobic.
How does everything feel forced? What does that even mean? Whatever.
That's too bad. Don't watch the movie.
That's just, like, your opinion, man.

I've been reading comics all my life, don't tell me i'm not a Batman fan.
CIA?? Bane being a POW with a black ops force doing Mission Impossible-style stunts?? Not to mention you can't understand a single thing he says.
And really, a plane heist?? How IS that Batman?
Claustrophobia comes in with the moody lighting, cabin enclosure, quick sentences, and weird wirework.
You're right, it is my opinion. I'm weighing in on it. Don't treat it like it's impossible to hate something. Besides, it's the first 5 minutes. Chill out.
