It would really be interesting to see a hand to hand combat Batman vs Bane, I wonder how that would play out. I mean how much on visual effects would Nolan rely on for Bane. As for Catwoman...hmm...interesting

scarecrow007, I think it's pretty much been confirmed as real by people with inside knowledge. Personally I like it, but it doesn't seem as epic as TDK's plot. But then again we've only been told the basics.

I just don't like the idea about Bane appearing as a "muscule" to Talia... bad memories.

It hasnt been confirmed by WB or Nolan yet, so it's not 100%, but I have to say it could definitely work well.

I always imagined Bane as hired muscle, myself.
Without Joe Chill, there would be no Dark Knight, no Caped Crusader, no World's Greatest Detective!

I'm as much excited as I am scared about this film. Batman: Begins and The Dark Knight were both superhero masterpieces, but there is always something about the third entry in a series that appears so cursed. However, it's undeniable that Christopher Nolan is a modern visionary, and I have great faith in him to deliver another stunning sequel.

    Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Jett from BOF confirmed the new report as real and I believe him.

I like it a lot. It sounds a bit simple but so did The Dark Knight on paper...and look how that turned out.

I'm very happy with the choice of villains: Bane, Catwoman and Talia al Ghul. AND who is playing them: Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway and Marion Cotillard. I wonder what character Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be portraying, now that we know its an antagonist of some kind. I'm thinking its either Alberto Falcone or Roman Sionis/Black Mask, b/c hes supposed to be tied to the League of Shadows. So a mob-type character makes sense, and I doubt they would cast JGL as the Penguin, lol.

I have a feeling there are one or two more characters yet revealed. I'm looking for a new GCPD character who is part of the hunt for Batman, and pressuring Gordon. Maybe Sarah Essen or Janis Porter. Naomi Watts, anyone? And maybe one more antagonist. Thinking maybe Penguin in a fairly small, mobster-type role.
Say, why should I trust some Cat broad anyway?

One of BOF's sources has said there'll be a new batmobile and possibly a new bat-vehicle of some sort - probably an air vehicle. Sounds interesting to me! Whether it's true or not is another thing!

One thing i'm really looking forward to is seeing Wayne Manor rebuilt and a new improved cave, something more befitting the Caped Crusader.

I like Jett, but you seem to put a lot of faith in his words. I trust his opinions too, but he's been wrong before, too. Also, what is this plot synopsis? Can anyone post a link?
