When you have some time if you could take a look at mine I would greatly appreciate it! Changed gamer tag so I could get to my DLC and now I can't get it to recognize my saved game.

Just got acouple of questions. If I reactivate Steam Cloud, would that cause a problem?
Also, could I delete the other save slots?

These are of very little concern. Again thank you for helping me out. Not to over sell it, but you are one of the reasons why the internet is awesome: people helping people.

I don't think reactivating the Steam cloud should be a problem. And yes, you can delete the other slots. A lot of those steps were kind of arbitrary, but better safe than sorry.

I'm just doing this because I think AC is a fantastic game and don't want people to be soured on it because of issues that are out of the actual developer's hands. I'm more than sure that upper management forced GFWL on Rocksteady, and if they had their way they probably wouldn't have included the save encryption garbage in the first place. Unfortunately, I believe one of the stipulations of using GFWL is that saves aren't allowed to be interchangeable. :/

Tried these steps but as a result I see just an "Empty" slot instead of my save. The save was made back in december, before the patch. Here it is, renamed to my current gamertag already:

And you really should do those AR Training missions. Do at least the first 3 or so, because the Grapnel Boost makes flying around the city so much easier.

Hmm, could you try some of the other saves I uploaded and see if those work?

Hi emisan,

I have the same problem. I have a saved game from dec 2011 that would not display anymore. I ran the patch via origin and my saved data appeared. Then gfwl did an update and my saved data was gone again because I changed my gamertag a month before the patch. This is very frustrating. I attached my saved data. If you dont mind could u give this a shot when u have a chance? If for some reason after ur attempt to retrieve my save is at a lost im down to use hex editor to give it a shot but I will need some guidance on exactly what I would be changing, thx!
