Okay, thought I collect the problems I'm having with the game using the latest version (patch 2) of course, with the 301.42 WHQL Nvidia driver which has some optimizations for Arkham City.
My rig: i7 2600 CPU
Geforce 560 GTX 1GB
8 GB DDR3 RAM
1 TB 7200 rpm HDD
Windows 7 64 bit
Nothing modded, nothing overclocked, no programs running in the background.
1. This one is a no brainer, but DX11 performance is still very bad outdoors (25-30 fps totally independent of the settings I use, solid 60 on DX9)
2. Stuttering outdoors: the game only stutters when loading new areas, some problems can occur in the Bowery though and I noticed that stuttering only really occurs in bigger amounts when the new areas load up for the first time after starting up the game. When I enter a new area for a second time, it's much more bearable, almost unnoticable.
3. Stuttering indoors: This is a weird one, but seems like that indoors sometimes the game can't catch up to my speed. Usually I run everywhere and turn the camera very fast with the mouse at corners. Sometimes what I experience is that the next room is not fully loaded when I turn the camera. This is most noticable in the Museum (you can notice this by seeing white stuff in the next corner you are running to). Test the game using a mouse and keyboard next time, Rocksteady.
4. The intro logo videos are stuttering. I experience this since installing patch 2. It's not a big issue as other cutscenes are perfectly fluid, it's just a little weird.
My gameplay experience is pretty fluid apart from these things as I use DX9, overall patch 2 was a huge improvement for me, though I thing that because of these problems a third patch is mandatory. That could fix the game up to a perfect state. I hope Rocksteady will fix these, now that the GOTY is out they have a finished game to work with.
To provide a little help to those who have more serious stuttering issues: since patch 2 D3DOverrider actually makes the performance worse, also forcing Vsync in the Nvidia control panel seems to have the same effect. Use the Vsync setting the game offers.

Well Directx 11 should run a lot lower in fps especially outside since there are a lot of things being tessellated.
It's like comparing the fps from the Heaven 3.0 benchmark with tessellation maxed and tessellation off.
I don't know how well should the game run in DX11 but I do remember that Nvidia told us Arkham City will work wonderfully on a GTX 560 in DX11, also their benchmark results state the game should produce 45-47 fps on the settings I use in DX11.
on the changelog of the latest patch is written that they fixed the SLI/CrossFire issue?
What they fixed exactly? I feel fooled
This games run at n FPS with a single cards and it runs at the same framerate with two cards also,
so what they fixed? If the SLI does not give any improvements over a single card, what they fixed?
I can how update ??
If your having trouble, I suggest going to the link below:

The instructions are included.
Everyone that's on Patch2 should install latest PhysX software for a nice improvement to the gameplay, this latest software hasn't been released with any desktop drivers yet.
