What news of a 360 patch for the save file issue?

As per the title, there is a lot of chatter about the absolute failure of RS to release a patch for the PC issues but for us console gamers, we are getting no news at all.

I for one had my save file corrupt and I am going to be forced to restart the game, which I refuse to do until a fix is in place.

There is nothing more disheartening than losing 40+ hours worth of progress, and still be waiting several months for a fix to allow me to play again.

There has been no significant progress on a console patch, as far as I can tell, for a long while with little or no information coming.

Are we going to even get a patch, and if so any time soon?

I see the PC gamers have been getting "some" useful information today, is there any chance we console gamers can have a glimmer of hope that our broken £40 game might get a fix?

We are still looking into this, the root of the problem is rather complex.

There will be a patch but it will be a little while so it can pass all the necessary tests, certification and so we can ensure we have fixed the problem.

I'm sure you don't need more people dumpin' on y'all but this is the worst PC game experience I recall in the last twenty years. I hope you'll reconsider using GfWL next time, and I'm not usually one to mind it.

After losing my progress at 40% twice now, I give up and will wait for the patch. It's a fantastic game...when it works :/

I usually don't complain at devs but this was a pain in the ***.

Patience!!! WTFBatman, the devs are busy on the new DLC, it only been like 6 months since this problem was found, all the awards have been collected and everyone has had the pats on the back for being wonderful.

he's right. how would you like it if hundreds of people hounded you for info you dont have or you are working on. think how many people in the world have this game and have problems.and one comapny has to deal with it all.

LOL should have put sarcasm off really, that one company has to fix 1 problem and hundreds of thousands of people will be happy, they dont have to go around each persons house, they just need to fix there OWN code, and it there own fault for not testing the product correctly and there own fault for not fixing it ASAP, cause in my job if i say ASAP and it still not done in SIX MONTHS, questions get asked!
