Here are some developers that show players the fruits of their work -> http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3...4779195992365/ They do not go on vacation to her grandmother and so on, when people have problems. And in the case Rockstedy, we do not see the real work, we see no evidence that they do do something other than empty words like "we're working hard blah blah blah." And it is 3 months after release. Already any game you have released the same time as Batman AC, polished to a shine. Patches up to any game whether it's Skyrim, Saints Row 3, Assassins Creed R, came out almost every month. Developers understand that players are playing now, and need to fix bugs and release a patch as soon as possible. And every month a certain number of bugs have been treated with new patches. And what we have with Batman AC? It's been 3 months and we will not see a single patch. One patch that came with the game does not mean anything, they did it before the game. This means that after the game for a quarter of the year, the developers have done nothing to correct the errors. In any case, there is no single evidence that they are busy with something. No, even banal list of changes. And it's alarming is not it?
They "apologise if you feel this treatment is poor"![]()
DRM limitations are a punishment for the paying customer and an encouragement to seek better service elsewhere...
And then they complain about piracy.
Oh, ****! I'm just amazed at this support. One of the support is silent, and the other on a vacation left. LOL.
In support need to work, people such as KIO. Not a single person who needs help would not remain unanswered.
And if you collect 10 such as the KIO, the patches would be released every week.![]()
When SarahMay comes back to the forums on Wednesday she had better be coming with patch details and a specific release date. No more of this "we're working on it." I should have been able to play through this game and been done with it before November. Now it is almost March, and the studio has had my money for months.
She cant expect politeness when she returns. This has been very POOR behavior for a AAA studio, all other games have had multiple patches by now. This game is still broken to a large proportion of the audience and no details or updates have been coming from the studio. Dev's get on the forums and answer some questions already! Ignoring the issues are just pissing everyone off.
EbonHawk,
Yes sir, your comments are truly outstanding! I especially liked this one: "You guys could give the presidential/political campaigns in the US a run for their money!" There is NO way I could have said it any better - Thanks for taking the time to put your thoughts and feeling here on the forum.
With patch #2, I can now finally play an unbroken Batman Arkham City.
No problem. I'm just ready to completely write WB/Rocksteady out of my book for good. You tell them you just want to be listened to, they ignore you. You tell them you're not happy with them or their service, they just ignore you. That you want to be given a fair shake -- that's right, more of the same.
It doesn't make good business sense. Because for every one of us who are here, willing to post about it, there are dozens more that either don't feel it's worth the effort, or they're afraid to speak up, or they're just plain...occupied. I was going to say lazy, but I think it's more of a "there's something else more productive I can do, because this is a waste of time and breath".
I think that's what they're trying to do: "Just wait them out; they'll all go away."
I've become a loyal fan of other companies that make good on their promises, keep people informed, make an effort to be upfront and open about what they're doing. Hell, some of them have even fixed stuff before I could get anything typed up to send them. Or, at the worst: they offered me a couple of free vouchers toward other games in their franchise, and that series wound up being my favorite series ever: Mass Effect. Dragon Age II was the worst launch in my 30+ years of gaming, right up until Batman: Arkham City hit my hard drive. This is by far the worst launch/follow-up in my gaming history. I leave it up to WB/Rocksteady to either fix that, or just leave it to rot into obscurity.
I started this from scratch again last night, got as far as finding Mr Freeze, totally maxed out on dx9, afterburner limiting the game to 60fps, D3DOverrider forced v-sync and triple buffer and it was 60fps all the damn time. My GPU was 50% used, such a shame about this save bug as the game plays great on DX9 for me apart from that.
Some people wonder why I limit games to 60fps, well anything above 60fps on my screen will not be noticed, if you let a game go 100+fps then you are just making your card over work and the fans more noisy. Unless you have a 120hz monitor 60 is all you need. I could have 100+ fps and my card at 100%, but no point if you can limit to 60 and have 50% usage
In theory the other 50% of my card should go towards making DX11 play really well, so fingers crossed on this patch if it ever happens.
I won't be surprised when Wednesday comes and we get nothing.
Add me to the list of no longer buying future Rock Steady/WB games.
