Re: Technical Support : Current Update and Guidelines

    SarahMay,

With this new expected patch, I hope that when it is installed the saved games will not be blasted like the prior patch. I was only able to get past the Bruce Wayne prisoner thing at the beginning once (inmates will not appear in the regular game & GamePlus for me), and if I lose the one partially-working game that I CAN play, I won't be very happy along with other people who will lose their saved games again. Have they checked into that potential problem too? If I remember correctly with the first patch, unless I downloaded it, I couldn't even try to play the game.

What are we supposed to do if this new patch doesn't fix the major issues - many of us can't even play the game as you probably are already aware of. What does Rocksteady/WB plan to do (if anything) to make this right?

If she's doing her job, she's showing management the hate mail coming in and jumping up and down to get something resolved, because she's tired of dissappointing customers.

It's a very tough job (and not one I would want), but having customers complain because there hasn't been enough forthcoming details is part of it.

I would recommend to SarahMay that she divulge more information as to what she is specifically doing to be the customers' advocate and plead with her management to be able to provide a bit more detail in her posts.
Actually that is a failed concept that often leaves people in a negitive loop in their life and a way to blame issues on everything except themselves.

As you should be toaught when you are children. Patience is golden. Ranting, raving, throwing fits is never a solution to an issue, no matter how much attention you get (in a neg manner).

Game development isn't simply, push a few buttons, and look, a game pops out. IF you ever had to live with a game developer, you know the endless hours of codign they put in, the up all night,m drink all your coffee in the house, bumpign around at 4am, bull they deal with (or you living with them).

When you are dealing with consoles, and the expectations to make both as close as possible while getting over hardware limitations, and hearing them ***** all night "damn sony, get the memory right for once". OR for PC's with various hardware while you try to anticipate common issues with users screwing up their own system, and having when through half useless Directx file reports to realize 20 errors thrown indicate some system side issues they need to be aware of while you don't have time to tell them because you have to realize that isn't an issue you need to patch.

So don't expect Sarah to do anythign other then be patient as well why the developers still left on the project try to wean out what the real issues are, find a fix, to please everyone else in an imperfect world so the game can be perfect for them in the remaining percent of their life they will still play it.

    Hi all,

We are still finalizing the timeline for the release of the patch which is the final stage, once we know the times it will be released to public we will let you know and post more details. We also hope to know more about the saved games question.

Well, I've finished the game and new game plus but not 100%, just the main story plus most side missions and I really liked it, but I wanted to play this game in all it's advertised (DirectX 11) glory, but I'm tired of it already. I'm moving on to Mass Effect 3 even though I've already heard some bad things about it as well. Nobody's complained about the technical side of ME3, just the story. I don't understand why the big names in game development are slacking so badly. Maybe with Assassin's Creed 3 I'll feel better. Or maybe I should just stick to Rock Band 3 n the Wii, even though it has problems of it's own. <sigh>
