I hope they're not trying to use the status of TDKRises being the last movie in the trilogy to get people to see it. That rarely works. In fact, that's cashing in.

Nothing can replace a well written story coupled with good filming. If they screw up, they'll pay the price in the future.

12,876 Right now I'm just passing the time until I can see both of these behemoths. Whether or not TDKRises lives up to TDK, it will still make a lot of money. I can see where the doubt stems from.

12875. Besides, for TDKRises, Nolan was caught off-guard. Nobody counted on Heath Ledger dying. Apparently Nolan had to change more than a few things in the script.

12,874 The third movie was originally set to be The Joker's trial but with Heath's death, I think they had to change as lot more than we can possibly conceive in the script. In essence the soul of the story is still there but it has been remolded in a different shape.

12872. This sounds more interesting than a movie about Jokers trial. If I want Joker in the movie, I want him either causing chaos or locked up in Arkham.
