    Exact thing happened to me.

This definitely works for me (Until the graphics drivers crash anyway haha) I will just keep playing in DX9 mode until they REALLY fix these issues. Windowed mode just isn't as enveloping as full screen.

You don't have to keep it in windowed mode for the GPU usage to be correct. Once you go into windowed mode just go back to fullscreen.

See for me this doesn't happen, it stays the same GPU usage for both window and fullscreen, but for some reason seems slightly better in windowed even though GPU usage is the same.

Whats the proper way to go windowed mode? Its Alt+Shift right?

It's alt + enter. Before you shift into windowed your GPU usage is 99-100%?

No my GPU usage is 40-60% in both Full and windowed lol.

Re: Found the cause of the DX11 Issues

I think my problem is related to this. I have been playing in 3D since I installed the game on 12/09 without any kind of problem. Suddenly last night, I got a message from Windows 7 that I should dial the game settings down a bit because my system was slowing down. Here are my specs:
    Asus P8Z68-V Pro
    Intel i7-2600k
ZALMAN CNPS9500 AT 2 Ball CPU Cooling
    EVGA SuperClocked GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5
    Intel 320 Series 160gGB SSD
    G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866

I did dial down the game settings by turning off 3D and the game ran fine. This morning, the message came up again but this time I chose the option that more or less kept the in game options as they were, and I couldn't even get to the point where I chose my game save because the menu screen was running like a very very slow slide show. I looked at my cpu and gpu meters during this time and noticed that the levels were no different than when idle. I then noticed that the in-game slow down only occurred after I signed into GFWL. Hence, on my next attempt I decided NOT to sign on to GFWL, and again I was able to load the game and run have it run smoothly in 3D. Of course, I had to start all over since all my game saves are issued by GFWL, but I was just jazzed to be playing in 3D again. I will try this windowed method later on tonight when I get a chance to play again, but I was under the impression this had something to do with GFWL, but perhaps it is as you said and that Windows is running BMAC as a background process.

My GPU usage (and framerate) goes back down once I switch back into Fullscreen lol I'm sick of having to use workarounds just to get the game to work the way it's supposed to anyway.

Re: Found the cause of the DX11 Issues

I almost always play in windowed mode cause I like to have other windows open on my other monitor. I have tried playing in DX11 and the choppiness is noticeable and I am not playing a low end rig (see below). The DX9 runs fine, but I am disappointed this game has failed to deliver on game features they promoted. I have been looking forward to a game that could make use of the equipment I worked hard to put together. Being mainly an MMO player, nothing I have been playing pushes the graphics like this game should have. I will try playing not logged into GFWL, and in DX11 and see if it makes a difference. If that makes a difference, it would explain why a fix hasn't come through yet. They either are looking in the wrong place or they don't want to fix it because it affect GFWL in a negative way.

AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition Thuban 3.3GHz, 3.7GHz
    CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
    SAPPHIRE 100311SR Radeon HD 6970 2GB 256-bit GDDR5
ASUS M4A87TD EVO AM3 AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
    Windows 7 Ultimate

Interesting. Please do not hesitate to post your findings. This is annoying as hell. I paid 40 bucks for the 3D license.
